They will chase the Links more aggressively than in previous appearances, but are otherwise easy to dispatch with two hits from Link's basic Sword. They frequently appear in groups, by popping up from inside the ground when the Links approach them. In Tri Force Heroes, Blobs appear in various Levels of the Woodlands and Riverside. Blobs pose little threat to Link and can be dispatched with two hits from the Forgotten Sword or one hit from the Master Sword. In A Link Between Worlds, Blobs appear mainly in grassy areas of Hyrule, such as the Lost Woods, the Graveyard, the Southern Ruins, and the forests near Link's House. Following the introduction of this non-electric variety, the original Buzz Blobs gain a yellow glow and emit sparks to distinguish themselves. Blobs appear as slow-moving piles of a jelly-like substance which resemble the green Buzz Blobs from games prior to A Link Between Worlds.
